The Young Asian Pacific Islander (API) American Sacramento Democrats shall focus its efforts on empowering the API community, increasing the political participation and representing the views of young API Democrats, reaching underrepresented communities, exploring intersectional API identities, and supporting the election of Democrats to public office.

YAAS Democrats are a chartered club of both the Democratic Party of Sacramento County and the California Young Democrats.
